Philip Grözinger

My studio is my castle.

What I do in one sentence: Looking for pushing borders of color and light in my paintings.

Why I didn’t get a proper job: My other job didn’t pay off.

An artwork I dream of and I would get accomplished if space, time and money were abundant: I sometimes dream of rebuilding the spacestadion from 2001 but as a co2 vacum cleaner in space.

Artists, I have on my watch list (and why): Heiner Franzen. As he is the most awesome interdisciplinary artists at the moment.

I am afraid of losing my eyesight.

How I want to be buried resp. words I want to be written on my tombstone: That went fast.

Born 1972 in Braunschweig. Lives and works in Berlin.
