Why I didn’t get a proper job: Too boring and too easy.
An artwork I dream of and I would get accomplished if space, time and money were abundant: After thinking about that question – I really don’t have that large expensive project I’m dreaming about doing. For me it’s more about doing the artwork that really touches and moves people.
Artists, I have on my watch list (and why): Gregory Crewdson – big inspiration. Neo Rauch – the mystic. Philip Guston – love the late work! And he was brave enough to change his style. Tal R – I’m impressed by the energy in his work and the amount of works, styles, materials and books he produces.
I am afraid of dying.
How I want to be buried resp. words I want to be written on my tombstone: I told my kids how to make an artwork with my ashes – “this is my life”.
