Zora Kreuzer

My studio is my space for thinking, experimenting, painting, coffee, and music.

What I do in one sentence: I work with colour and light to create large-scale sitespecific installations.

Why I didn’t get a proper job: Work is work.

An artwork I dream of and I would get accomplished if space, time and money were abundant: Building a pyramid in the desert. Through art I can connect my inner emotional world with the outer physical. Colour and light give me the possibility to make it visible and share it with other people.

Why I do what I do: Through art I can connect my inner emotional world with the outer physical. Colour and light give me the possibility to make it visible and share it with other people.

Artists, I have on my watch list (and why): I just saw an exhibition by Carsten Nicolai which I really enjoyed. I admire how he’s a great artist and musician at the same time.

I am afraid of making decisions.

I know that a piece is finished when when I can sense a perfect balance between colourfulness, darkness, simplicity and order.

How I want to be buried resp. words I want to be written on my tombstone: Never thought about it.
