Stefano Bosis

My studio is my flying carpet and is colored like the wings of butterflies.

What I do in one sentence: I breath, I paint, and I fly.

Why I didn’t get a proper job: because life is too short to be proper.

An artwork I dream of and I would get accomplished if space, time and money were abundant: Fresco paintings that cover every inch of a huge chapel, of a huge theater and of a huge bank.

Artists, I have on my watch list (and why): Pantaleone, Maestro Bertram, Guillaume d’Amiens, Paneno, Aglatarco, then of course Michelangelo, Titian, Velázquez, Rembrandt, Leonardo, Michelangelo Tintoretto, Rubens, Modigliani, Brancusi, Vangogh, Soutine… because they are my heroes and my mentors. I’m in constant dialogue with them.

I am afraid of speculative Market and nihilism.

How I want to be buried resp. words I want to be written on my tombstone: I have never died like that.
