Radio Papesse

My studio is my studio is my studio is my studio… (Ilaria).
Carola: wherever I am. I guess my head and my ears.

What we do in one sentence: Radio, in many diverse ways.

Why we didn’t get a proper job: It is a proper job.

An artwork I dream of and I would get accomplished if space, time and money were abundant:
Ilaria: I’d love to work more on long lasting projects and give artists the chance to work with us on long lasting projects.
Carola: mmm…

Artists, I have on my watch list (and why):
Ilaria: Kahlil Joseph and Simone Fattal because I’d love to interview them, curator Michelangelo Corsaro, I really appreciate his work, Alexandra Pirici, Mikahil Karikis and Naeem Mohaiemen whose works I found extremely relevant.

I am afraid of
Ilaria: the past.
Carola: aggressiveness.

How I want to be buried resp. words I want to be written on my tombstone:
Ilaria: prima o poi doveva succedere.
Carola: I am not sure I’d want a tombstone. I guess I’d like to end up a little bit in the alps and a little bit in the mediterranean… but honestly, I really have no idea.

Studio visit in Carola Haupt’s and Ilaria Gadenz’ studio at Villa Romana in Florence.
